Even the warmup band, La Phaze from France, sound promising:

Yesterday my friend Jenny (of Halmstad) stayed overnight, and by accident I made the most successful fish soup of my life. It came about thus...
----------------------
Jenny's Fish Soup á la Panique
Boil water, about 4,5 dl.
Add 1 cube of vegetable buillon, salt and pepper.
Cut about 7 brussels sprouts in half, toss into the water with no mercy.
Toss in 3 frozen fish filets (in our case, tilapia and pangasius filets snatched from the freezer)
Boil until they are just cooked through (no transparent parts), then take them out and cut into pieces.
Sing pom-pom-pom (very important...)
Thinly slice approx. 1 carrot, toss in.
Add a handful of pasta screws (a.k.a. fusilli)
Boil until pasta is al dente, then put back the fish.
Add chopped parsley (all that's left in the box!) and some thyme, if it's just standing there anyway.
Add cream and mustard (about two liberal squeezes from the bottle) to the water until it turns beige and you can't find the pasta anymore.
Taste the soup, realize that it's a bit salty, and add some brown farine sugar. (It works for caipirinhas, so why not here...?)
Two liberal dashes, and one more when your guest isn't looking gives the best results.
I have two people (not counting myself) who can testify that this soup is not to be dissed...
Ha. ;)
