Berlin

Rather than write a tremendously long post about too many things at a time, I'm opting for some serial blogging.

The trip to Berlin was a statistical oddity of sorts. Cessie, Cissi, Suzy [and, uh, Daniel] travelled to Berlin and visited... Sussi. What are the odds?

The four musketeers stayed in a hostel that was a boat anchored on the river Spree next to some remnants of the Berlin Wall. The boat had a resident black cat on board named Minka.

In the evenings the hostel turned into a bar and quickly filled up with bar patrons and... spiders. What are the odds?

The four tourists attended... a world championship exhibition in sandcastle-building. What are the odds?


On the final day of our stay, the drinking started in moderation at 12:49 (accorting to photographical evidence) and escalated toward the evening such proportions that Yours truly engaged in some 'drunk taping', which, as opposed to drunk blogging, means that you find the precautionary application of sports tape to your ankle joint a perfect prelude to an evening of... going out clubbing. And then wearing the bandage-like creation out on the town as a festive accessory. What are the odds?

And finally - Fräulein Berlin went to Berlin and climbed the Berlin wall. What are the odds?


Apart from this, I will acknowledge that Jägermeister works everytime. :)
