The movie that started it
It's been ups and downs since then, and I hope to look back on today as my in-between years that came before something really great and wonderful... In the meantime, the song below speaks volumes to me (both the lyrics and the way it was made) and makes me want to put my chin up again, put my heart into life, and laugh and live life unapologetically while dancing goofily. Because when push comes to shove, that's who I'd rather be. It's been a long time since a song made me feel so good.
A wise person somewhere recently said (something to the effect of) "people love love, and people hate work, which is a tragedy because love cannot exist without work". This video, to me, symbolizes putting time and work into something great. I wanna do that.
