I.Adore. This. Comic. For want of a TV (which I have not had in my household for 3 years now!!), the cast of characters in QC are my Friends, Scrubs, SATC and Desperate Housewives rolled into one. I am a complete sucker for the groundedness of the main characters, the AMAZING acrobatic metaphors that fly like silver darts form the mouths of the main characters...

...the sudden bizarre twists of the plot or absurd guest strips, the sweetness and maturity with which the difficulties of relationships and friendships are obsessed over... And I have to shamefacedly admit that Dora is so cool that she is my new hero. On a nerdier note, I LOVE the fact that you can follow an amazing progress in the author's (artist's?) drawing style. His drawing ability has gone through a fantastic EVOLUTION; just look at episode 1, 200, 500, and 1184, the latest strip (in that order) below!
Episode 1

The scientist in me smiles happily at the way you can follow a gradual 'maturing' of the little details in both the characters and the backgrounds. As well as the sweet quirkyness of the story lines. The only thing that has floored me consistently throughout has been the language the characters use. The language. I die happy.
Aaaargh, love this series :) Check it out regularly HERE.
